Trina wrote of "Trulia: The game" and we have found it a fun one to play.
You need internet access and some device -- tablet, phone, laptop, computer.
Go to TRULIA.
If you're playing by yourself, go to the region you want and look for homes to buy. Find the least expensive home with the most pluses.
Pluses can include proximity to a grocery store, proximity to public transportation, proximity to clubs or shopping, etc.
TRULIA lets you check those items out. You can also check out crime rates relative to the area.
Demographics on TRULIA will let you know the averge age of the people in the area and the average level of education.
If you're playing with friends, you play the same way only, as a group, you select a state. You then pick individual cities or towns in that state and compete with one another for who can find the best home.
The best home can be a single-family dwelling, a condo, townhouse, etc.
Pay attention to HOA dues when looking at condos or townhouses.
