Who killed Cock Robin?  Forget that fairy tale, who killed MSNBC?

 

 

The cable 'news' network is being 'spun off' -- dumped? -- by the parent corporation so they really didn't need an embarrassment last week but they got one -- day after day.

 

The embarrassment is MORNING JOE.  The well known talk show doesn't air 23 our of 24 hours daily on MSNBC -- it just feels that way.  Four.  That's the number of hours it airs each morning, Monday through Friday.  It became a morning staple over the years.  The talk show hosts are the married couple Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski with Willie Geist tagging along as the family pet.

  

Joe and Mika and the whole crew spent years telling you how awful Donald Trump was.  Well, the years after the November 2016 election.  Prior to that, they flattered and fawned over Donald Trump and helped elect him.  Then they went a to a Trump party, things got ugly (Donald would say it was Mika's bad plastic surgery -- he would say that and he did say that). That's when the media whores and their pimp broke up.  So imagine the shock at the start of last week when Joe and Mika announced they'd gone to Trump's home over the weekend to patch things up.

Common sense?

 

They have none which is how the meet-up happened.

 

But let's stay with the lack of common sense.

Alleged pedophile and sex trafficker Matt Gaetz had to abandon his nomination for Attorney General of the United States; however, please note this came only after the disgusting foursome of Matt Stoller, Lee Fang, Ryan Grim and Glenneth Greenwald championed and defended his nomination.

 

Glenneth, a transphobe who hates lesbians as a class, went so far as to insist Matt Gaetz had earned the right to be confirmed it on the issue of gay rights alone. He Tweeted, "He was also the key figure in having Florida repeal its ban on same-sex couples adopting (sorry, just facts)."

Glory Hole Glenn is always a liar.  That wasn't a fact that he served up, it was a lie.

Glenneth knows his aged fan base swallows any lie he tells and he's no longer important enough for most to bother fact checking.  He figured he'd get away with yet another lie.

What does that say to you?  That statement implies that Matt Gaetz ending the ban on gay and lesbian couples adopting.  

Lie. Lie.  Lie.

Where to begin?

How about the fact that the ban -- pushed by Anita Bryant -- was not on same-sex couples.  It was on any gay person.

What a stupid idiot.  

 

He's always hated lesbians and that's why he missed March of 2002 when Rosie O'Donnell came out as a lesbian.  Steve Rothaus (KNIGHT RIDDER NEWSPAPERS) reported that month:

 

Rosie O'Donnell learned last year that Florida is the only state that flat-out won't allow gay people to adopt. That gays can become foster parents in the Sunshine State, but not permanent adoptive parents. 

The TV star and magazine editor -- who lives in Miami Beach with her partner and three children who were adopted in New York -- suddenly realized she would not be allowed to keep the 4-year-old foster daughter entrusted to her by the state of Florida.

"She will soon be adopted by friends of mine. I am not legally able to adopt this child, because I am gay," an outraged O'Donnell writes in the introduction to a book, Too High A Price: The Case Against Restricting Gay Parenting, to be published this week by the American Civil Liberties Union.

O'Donnell decided to out herself and join forces with the ACLU after reading about Steven Lofton and Roger Croteau, a Miami Beach couple fighting in court to adopt their three foster sons. On Aug. 30, 2001, a federal judge in Miami upheld a 1977 Florida law that prohibits gays and lesbians from adopting.

 

At that same time, only one other state prohibited gay adoptions -- and that was Mississippi -- but, pay attention Glory Glenn -- it prohibited couples adopting -- gay couples -- it did not, like Florida did -- prohibit gay couples and an individual gay man or lesbian from adoption.

So Glenn the lousy lawyer was wrong -- he was wrong when he said the ban was on same-sex couples.  No, you damn fool, you damn liar, the ban was on gay couples and on a single gay man adopting and on a single lesbian adopting.  If you're too lazy to read the original law, you could refer to 2004's LOFTON V SECRETARY OF THE DEPARTMENT OF CHILDREN & FAMILY SERVICES which argued that there was a difference between a single straight person adopting a child and a single gay person.  

Glenn's a liar and a loser.

No.  He was lying there as well.  There are two more lies to cover.  One is that Matt was key to the ban being repealed.  He's referring to Matt adding an amendment to a bill in 2015.  Now, more reality, though Matt has a 'son' who he 'adopted' that many in Florida have thought was his lover, Matt's no friends of LGBTQs and never was.  The legislators who served with Matt that we spoke to noted that Matt didn't want the bill to pass -- the one he added the amendment to.  He added it, we were told, at the last minute hoping to kill the bill and it almost did kill the bill in Florida's senate (Matt was in the lower chamber).  It wasn't seen as a bill that was going to pass -- especially not as the senate received it three weeks before the end of their session..  

So there's that lie.

But here's the big lie, Rosie and the ACLU brought the issue to attention in 2002.  Matt acted in 2015.  Guess what happened between those two events?

In 2010, the courts found the 1977 law to be unconstitutional and it was no longer enforceable (IN RE: GILL).

You need to stop believing that Glenn tells the truth and you especially need to grasp that he never knows the law. 

Common sense should have told you decades ago that Glenneth doesn't know the law but he sure knows how to lie.

Common sense is your friend.  Learn to trust it.

Common sense, for example, has long told us that Zac and Cody on THE VANGUARD have huge problems.  And last week, at five minutes in, of their "Bernie Sanders Teases COMEBACK in CRYPTIC Post CALLING OUT The Democratic Party" episode you saw that.  As usual, Zac was running off the mouth, fanboying, with no facts, no context and no common sense.  And it got to the point where Gavin had to disagree with him.  It was like when Krystal and Saager disagree on BREAKING POINTS -- uncomfortable but you knew it was coming.

As obvious as hatred spewing out of a MAGA.  

If you missed it,  MAGA moron Nancy Mace has been attacking Sarah McBride.  Both women are in Congress.  When Nancy's not obsessed with her own camel toe, she's trying to prevent Sarah from using the restroom.  Mira Lazine (LGBTQ NATION) reports:

Rep. Nancy Mace (R-SC) just revealed on X that she is selling shirts to attack Representative-elect Sarah McBride (D-DE), who is the first transgender person elected to Congress.

“The Left wants to NORMALIZE balls in women’s stalls. Hell no. I’m NOT backing down,” she said. “Every purchase will help FUEL MY FIGHT to protect women and girls across America. HOLD THE LINE!”

Where there is hate and crazy, there is always Marjorie Taylor Green who soon had to join Nancy and  Conversion Case of the House Mike Johnson in attacking Sarah.

We know they won't care but what the MAGA trash is doing is setting up violence in this country.  How those three have acted?  You wouldn't let a middle schooler get away with it.  This is how they show maturity in Congress.  They're hateful, they're trashy and they are an embarrassment to the country -- as anyone with common sense can see.

Common sense would have told Mika and Joe that scraping and bow before Trump would destroy their ratings.  And their supplication has, in fact, destroyed their ratings.  

After the backlash, Joe and Mika began whispering to the press and -- as unnamed sources -- got the media to state that they did it because Donald hates Joe and is always bringing up Joe's dead intern and how Joe might have murdered her.  The murder took place in Florida -- home of Matt Gaetz!  And Matt was about to become Attorney General of the United States!!!!

They just knew, they just knew, that the death would be opened up and examined if they didn't kneel before Donald. 

There is someone who could have provided some perspective on this topic: Sam Seder.

But though he did cover it on his YOUTUBE program THE MAJORITY REPORT -- he didn't really report on it or provide context or much of anything.

In that regard, he was like the rest of the media -- a collective that refused to ask basic questions but instead flaunted their lack of common sense.

 

If Joe didn't kill her, why was he worried.

We're not saying he killed her.  

 

We are saying there was a lot more to that rumor.

As we remember the rumor, that we looked up in 2005, after having heard about it on . . . THE MAJORITY REPORT on AIR AMERICA RADIO, Joe wasn't in Florida at the time of his intern's death.  So if he didn't kill her, why was he so worried about anyone looking into the death?

Maybe because the rumor was never just that he killed her.  He was not present.

The original rumors, as presented by Sam Seder on AIR AMERICA RADIO's THE MAJORITY REPORT, were much more than what the media said last week.

 

 Mr. Scarborough had an intern.

She was found dead in his office.  Not his office in D.C. -- Mr. Scarborough was a U.S. House of Representative -- but in his home office.  Some rumors said he killed her.  He was not in Florida at the time.  So some rumors said he hired someone to kill her.  Why?  Supposedly, she was pregnant with his child and that is what it was all about.

 

Affair!!!!!  

 

Yes, that was the rumor that was broadcast on AIR AMERICA RADIO's THE MAJORITY REPORT.

 

 

If Joe didn't kill her -- and we don't believe he did -- what did Mika and Joe have to worry about?

 

The only thing would be that the intern and her boss were having an affair.

That is the only reason to worry about a probe into this long ago death.

 

Why would that matter?  Because Joe's sleazy but refashioned himself as someone of character.  Because the intern died three months before Joe married his second wife.  Because Joe trashed Bill Clinton for years and years over Bill's affair with Monica Lewinsky -- Joe usually managed to work the term "intern" in six or seven times when raging to the media about it.

Joe's a sick man.  And MORNING JOE today depends upon America not knowing that.  If the audience knew that he was sleeping with an intern -- or even suspected it -- that would knock off some of the varnish he so carefully applied over the years.  And if people were examining that, they might examine other things.  Like how, as late as July of 2004, Joe was lying and falsely linking al Qaeda to Iraq -- insisting Iraq was who attacked the US on 9/11.  Of course, most people have forgotten that long before MORNING JOE, he had another program on MSNBC entitled SCARBOROUGH COUNTRY.  

Saturday, Rebecca made a strong case of how Mika and Joe kissing the ring harmed the talk show hosts ("they destroyed their own brand").  But as bad as that was, even worse would be for today's MORNING JOE viewers to be reminded of Joe's real past.
