It was always a con job. In this community, C.I.. and Ava called it out repeatedly here, Ruth, Rebecca, Elaine, Mike and C.I. called it out at their own sites. Outside the community? Applause for the work of Margaret Kimberley, Glen Ford, Bruce A. Dixon, Michael Tracey, Aaron Mate, Zach Haller, Jimmy Dore, Glenn Greenwald, Stephen Cohen, Ian 56, Caitlin Johnstone, Lee Camp, Ajamu Baraka, Jill Stein, and many others -- especially ANTIWAR.COM's Justin Raimondo.
Where's the evidence?
That was the Tweet of the year. Possibly of the last two years. Justin was right.
Here are some more recent Tweets. We've tried to present a cross-section and we've tried to be representative. We're sure we've overlooked some voices but that wasn't intentional. And every member of this community called out Russiagate. We mentioned only Ava, C.I., Ruth, Rebecca, Elaine and Mike because they called it out repeatedly, over and over. If you did it once and feel sleighted, that's on you. More to the point, the war on Russia started under Barack Obama and we're pretty sure the first to notice was THE COMMON ILLS.
It will take years to fully process the true scope the media failure on Trump/Russia. The scale of their malfeasance is breathtaking. I have eternal contempt for these self-interested, cynical frauds who deceived the public for profit and political gain. Malignant scumbags
I will neither read nor share anything written by this hack. He is wrong and should just go away.
Congressional Dems are suddenly doubting Mueller’s findings after treating him as the holy oracle and hailing his indictment of a St Petersburg troll farm owned by a hot dog vendor as evidence of a Pearl Harbor/9-11 level assault on America. This farce won’t end.

In sum: if you have a cable show and refuse to put people on who do anything but nod their head madly at everything you say until they risk a sprained neck - all while excluding skepticism & dissent from your primary narrative - you're likely to end up spreading deceit & scams:

Which journalist turned conspiracy theorist profited from 'Russiagate' the most?
- With Mueller Done, WSJ Urges "Probe The Real Scandal" https://www.zerohedge.com/news/2019-03-25/mueller-done-wsj-urges-probe-real-scandal … #MuellerReport #Russiagate Hoax
With Mueller done, we are in a new era, where the Trump-Russia conspiracy theory is no longer sustainable & thus no longer able to define the Resistance. That's a crushing defeat for those who peddled it, but for the rest of us, it's a victory: we can now have a real opposition.
And just for future reference: documenting the falsehoods, baseless conspiracies, and deceitful narratives being peddled without dissent by the major corporate media isn't "blogging" or "media criticism." It's journalism. It's reporting. And it's vital.
Mueller emphatically obliterated the central premise of the investigation. The “obstruction” element is entirely ancillary. It’s time for media to stop the lies and accept their complicity in this colossal, historic failure
- Good @WashingtonPost article on the reckoning that major parts of the US media owe the public for the historically humiliating role they eagerly played in misleading millions of people for 2+ years

- But I'm not upset with general public who are propagandized to their bones. It's the "left" elements that along with it and denigrated those us who were trying to hip people to new McCartyism championed by liberals while everyone was focused on Trump.
- Ajamu Baraka RetweetedDon't be confused. Everyone knew there was no collusion with Russia, that was not the point. The objective was to use Russiagate to strengthen repressive state apparatus & ensure Trump didn't really threaten interests of finance capital & transnationals.

- Never mind Mueller. How about that FBI Report abou how someone went back in time and wrote nasty anti gay stuff on her blog
“For a clear-eyed leftist, it’s been an exhausting couple of years. The effort to hold on to facts and evidence while being buffeted by relentless waves of gaslighting propaganda has been tough and many have lost friends and allies on the way.”

- I’m so glad I come from the stand-up comedy world & not journalism, how depressing to be stuck in a profession largely filled with willful propagandists, grifters, & hacks to who are, in fact, chosen for their positions in news media because of their obsequiousness to power.
