Barack only talks for money
Barack is so full of it. He wants
people to know that they needed to vote in the mid-term. So what better
way to get the word out?
“To
a large degree, we are seeing a competition between two stories,” the
former president told about 200 people at a high-dollar fundraiser for
the Democratic
National Committee in Beverly Hills.
“There’s
the story that is based largely on fear, and there is a story based
largely in hope. There’s the story that says we’re in it together, and
there’s
the story that says there’s an us and a them,” Obama told DNC Chairman
Tom Perez during a conversation at the event. Reporters were allowed in
to listen to the 48-minute discussion. The rest of the event was closed
to the press.
Barack. He meets with big donors and talks about what needs to happen.
He was never ‘of the people.’ He
proves it every day. C.I. and I met him when he was running for the US
Senate. What a huge disappointment that was. He was supposed to be
anti-war and everyone was telling us about the ‘great’ speech
he gave against the Iraq War. So we showed up with our checkbooks
intending to write huge checks. Instead, he says that the US is already
in Iraq so it doesn’t matter anymore. I’m dumb founded. C.I., of
course, isn’t and she just gets right to the point
asking if he’s saying that it doesn’t matter now which is what he’s
saying. So we tell him what a disappointment he is and leave, no check
written.
But that’s Barack. He’ll only speak
to those of us able to write big checks. He was that way before he got
into the Senate and he’s that way today. I believe the term is “money
grubber.”
