Isaiah's The World Today Just Nuts "The Feminist Barack" is above and it captures Barack's efforts to cozy up to the Taliban. We covered that last Sunday in "Editorial: Ms. magazine gets punked" and other Afghanistan coverage in the community last week included:
"Selling out the women of Afghanistan," "Afghanistan," "Afghanistan women get forgotten"
"Afghanistan roundtable," "US designates Gulbuddin Hekmatyar a Terrorist," "afghanistan roundtable," "Afghanistan," "Afghanistan in the Kitchen," "Talking Afghanistan," "The Afghanistan Roundtable," "Roundtabling Afghanistan," "Friday night movie post on Tuesday," "Afghanistan roundtable," "Iraq and Afghanistan," "Afghanistan," "Ron DLC Kirk," "Iraq, Hillary, Isaiah, etc" and "Anti-feminist Barack Obama"
It also included the following:
US designates Gulbuddin Hekmatyar a Terrorist

C.I. copied and pasted that from the US Embassy in Italy's website to ensure that we had a copy of it (it's disappearing all over the net). At Dissident Voice, Tom Burghardt tackled the terrorist whose past Barack's attempting to 'tidy up' by noting:
A piece of work from the get-go, Hekmatyar was a former engineering student and founder of Afghanistan's Muslim Brotherhood. This brave mujahid cut his political teeth by throwing vials of acid in the faces of Kabul University women who refused to wear the veil. Accused of murdering a leftist student, Hekmatyar fled to Pakistan where he continued his activities with "guidance" from ISI handlers.
For the record, very few feminist organizations or 'leaders' have bothered to speak out. Their silence has been shameful. As always, the most shameful are those who chose to profit from the plight of Afghan women with books, films and lectures.
