Third Estate 2008 archives by week

So here's the deal on this feature. In 2007, Dona, Jim and Ty decided to flip our template. They grabbed a new one. They thought it was groovy and delovely and life altering.

All it really did was destroy our archives. They are a huge mess. What we were able to do is, as 2007 ended, grab the weeks before they disappeared and paste them into " 2007 Archives." And that's what we're doing for 2008.

We know, we know. 2005 and 2006 are a pain in the ass. If you use the links to the left [2006 (957) and 2005 (448)], you have to go through pages and pages and it's just not worth it. Two things, you can search by date in Google. Search us for "A note to our readers" for any week and it should provide you with an index of that week's articles. Not every week had a note. It should have and many readers were asking for one and got blown off back then.

Our apologies.

But we said "two things." The other thing. C.I. figured out how to get 2006 and 2005 to display for weekly archives in a post. (Don't ask us how, we don't know and C.I.'s been playing with it for about a half-hour before getting it to work.) So we now have the 2005 and 2006 archives scrollable by week once again. And Dona, Jim and Ty swear they won't do anything to f**k it up this time. Honest.
