Repost:
The Ten most disappointing 'left' pundits of the last 8 years
In this morning's snapshot, I wrote:
In the US, no pundit disappointed me more in the last 8 years than Norman Solomon who once titled a book WAR MADE EASY before spending the last eight years . . . making war easy.
A few e-mails have asked who would be the others on the list?
The Ten:
1) Norman Solomon
2) Laura Flanders
3) Michael Ratner (deceased)
4) Danny Schechter (deceased)
[Isaiah's September 9, 2012 "Tom Hayden Democrats" features number five.]
5) Tom Hayden (deceased)
[June 22, 2008, Isaiah's "Wheel of Greed" features numbers 7, 8 and 9.]
7) Matthew Rothschild
8) John Nichols (brain dead)
9) Katrina vanden Heuvel
[Isaiah's "I Am The War Hawk You Have Been Waiting For" from December 1, 2009 features Barack and Cult of St. Barack members Alice Walker, Tom Hayden, Phyllis Bennis (number 10), John Nichols and Amy Goodman.]
10) Phyllis Bennis
In one way or another, they all ran from Iraq and acted like the ongoing war didn't exist once Barack was first sworn in.
They're failures. They failed on one issue after another during the last eight years -- Iraq is only the one that pisses me off the most.
