Well, Marvin, the print edition went out sometime ago.
Where's the online edition?
Blame it on Ava and C.I.
We read their TV commentary earlier this morning.
We liked it but there was mainly silence.
Why?
As we were wrapping up, Ty put it into words: "You know we really should have a theme edition."
He's right. Ava and C.I.'s review really calls for a theme edition.
We all supported that.
What we're doing now is trying to pull together new content quickly and trying to figure out what we can use from the print edition.
RadioNation with Laura Flanders featured a strong discussion on impeachment (the guests were Elizabeth de la Vega and David Swanson) and we're trying to figure out if we can recast the feature we did on that to fit the theme. We probably won't be able to. But we're all committed to this theme and to pulling something together that fits with it as best as we can. We have a feature that's a historical one in the print edition. We're retitling it "Origins" for the online edition but otherwise, it's the same feature. We think just the title change allows it to work with the theme. We'll probably be posting in a few hours. C.I. notes The Common Ills is on hold until this edition is finished.
And that, Marvin, is what's going on.
