Breaking: News of US war resister Joshua Key

Joshua Key of Oklahoma has been denied war refugee status by the Canadidan government. Key checked out from the US military while on leave in December of 2003, initially moving to Philadelphia and then, in March 2005, moving to Canada (with his wife Brandi and four children). Key was a welder prior to signing up. While in Philadelphia he did welding jobs and worried that he would be tracked down via his Social Security number. Brandi Key waited tables while they lived in Philadelphia. Joshua Key is the author of the upcoming book The Deserter's Tale.
