The Special Representative of the Secretary-General for the United Nations Assistance Mission for Iraq, Jeanine Hennis-Plasschaert, expressed on Monday her confidence in the ability of the Iraqi Prime Minister, Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani, to combat corruption and provide services, according to the Iraqi News Agency (INA).
Plasschaert statement took place during her meeting with the Governor of Karbala, Jassim Al-Khattabi, INA reported.
“We do not question the capabilities of the Iraqi Prime Minister to work, fight corruption and provide services,” Plasschaert said.
This one's going to be different. This one. They've given assurance repeatedly with each new prime minister. And they've been wrong over and over.
Aren't they embarrassed?
Do they have no shame?
Sure Pretenders performed "If There Was A Man."
But they performed it for the film THE LIVING DAYLIGHTS. No one took it that seriously and betting on James Bond? A hell of a lot smarter than betting on the latest corrupt leader of Iraq.
