Need to pop in a film for the holidays?  Something to watch after you've feasted or something to watch while you prep and chop?  Here are ten films to consider.

1) HANNAH AND HER SISTERS.

A hilarious look at friends and family and the holidays.  Stars Woody Allen, Mia Farrow, Dianne Wiest, Barbara Hershey, Michael Caine, Julie Kavner, Carrie Fisher, Lewis Black, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Max von Sydow, Joanna Gleason, John Turturro, J.T. Walsh and many others.

2) PLANES, TRAINS AND AUTOMOBILES.

Steve Martin and John Candy forced to travel in the lead up to Thanksgiving and forced to travel with each other.  Probably John Candy's best film and best performance.

3) SOUL FOOD.

Laughter and drama also anchor this holiday fest which features Vanessa William, Vivica A. Fox, Michael Beach, Nia Long, Mekhi Phifer, Gina Ravera, Brandon Hammond and Irma P. Hall.

4) FOR YOUR CONSIDERATION.

5) BROADWAY DANNY ROSE.

6) ADAMS FAMILY VALUES.

Wednesday and Pugsly teach the true meaning of Thanksgiving to some snobby, mean kids at camp.

7) THE MORNING AFTER.

Want something other than a comedy?  How about this stylish thriller from Sidney Lumet which finds Jane Fonda waking up in bed with a man who's been stabbed in the chest.  Jeff Bridges shows up as either someone trying to frame her or someone trying to help her.

8)  BY THE LIGHT OF THE SILVERY MOON.

Need something musical?  Sample this film starring Doris Day and Gordon MacRae.

9) BROKEBACK MOUNTAIN.

Maybe you need a tear jerking romance?  Ang Lee delivers with this film starring Jake Gyllenhall and Heath Ledger.

10) THE BLIND SIDE.

How about a feel good family film?  This one delivers (as does Sandra Bullock, which is why she won an Academy Award for her performance).
