In their basic form, it's milk chocolate surrounded by a hard candy shell.
In recent years, M&Ms have tried to fancy things up.
If you go their website, you can find pretzel M&Ms, dark chocolate M&Ms, crispy M&Ms, peanut butter M&Ms, mint M&Ms, almond M&Ms and even an M&M chocolate bar.
What you won't see is M&Ms Double Chocolate.

On the bag, it says "LIMITED EDITION."
We feel like some of the ones at the website should have been a limited edition.
But the Double Chocolate?
It's a hit.
It's got the same texture of the M&Ms Carmel (also a LIMITED EDITION) but with a better and smoother taste.
Of all the products to make it into the Test Kitchen, this is the only one that received universal agreement.
Seek out a bag of M&M Double Chocolate and see if you don't love them too.
