There's a reason Junior would rather talk about eating dog

heeatsdogs

That's  Isaiah's THE WORLD TODAY JUST NUTS  "He Eats Dog" about Robert Kennedy Jr and the claims that he ate a dog and then bragged about it.  THE NEW YORK POST has a photo of Junior with the dog he supposedly ateVANITY FAIR has the report on his dog eating here.

If you missed it, yesterday morning, Team Kennedy

The DNC smear attack machine is back with a nasty hit piece against Robert F. Kennedy Jr. in Vanity Fair. This article, filled with distortions and misleading information, is yet another tactic by the DNC political machine to undermine our campaign.

One of the most egregious claims in the article is a baseless reference to a rumor that RFK Jr. once ate a dog. This ridiculous and unfounded accusation is an apparent attempt to distract from his policies and achievements.

You're being called out because you've earned it.

But what's especially telling?  That VANITY FAIR article also reported Junior assaulted a woman.  In fact,  Maroosha Muzaffar (INDEPENDENT) notes Junior's response to the allegation that he assaulted Eliza Cooney:

Independent presidential candidate Robert F Kennedy Jr has defended himself against allegations of sexual assault by a former babysitter saying, "I am not a church boy."

There's a reason Junior would rather talk about eating dog.

Book Talk (Kat, Ava and C.I.)

1summerread

As we did in 2021 and 2023, we're attempting to again increase book coverage in the community. After a review posts, we try to do a discussion with the reviewer.  This go round, we're talking with Kat  about her "C'MON, GET HAPPY is the worst book of 2024" which is David Fantle and Tom Johnson book about -- or supposedly about -- the making of the Judy Garland and Gene Kelly film SUMMER STOCK.  The book's full title is C'MON, GET HAPPY: THE MAKING OF SUMMER STOCK.  Kat, your reaction?

Kat: I love GET HAPPY.  I hated that book.

You note that the authors are detached.

Kat: Right.  They seem embarrassed to admit that there is so much joy in that movie.  And there is.  It is a classic film.  A musical classic.  But they can't love it and they can hate it and it's a detached and distant book that plods along slowly.  How do you produce a book so boring and so dull about a film like SUMMER STOCK?  "Get Happy" alone should lead to 15 pages of raving.

It's a 285 page book and you note that you said enough around page 214.  You write:

If you're not getting how awful this book is, it's not until page 118 that we're finally to "THE DAY THE CAMERAS STARTED TO ROLL" -- all caps are done by the authors, maybe in an attempt to wake back up the readers.

We have had to wait 118 pages before we get to the filming of the movie.

And then it gets worse.  Page 132 announces, "IT'S A WRAP!"  Again, the authors use the all caps.

We had to wait 118 pages before getting to the start of filming and then 15 pages later we're done?

Kat: Right.  The authors want to cover everything but the filming.  And that's really sad.  Access to the daily production logs alone should have resulted in more than 15 pages about the shooting of the film.

You found the book very disappointing.

Kat: I did and I wouldn't recommend anyone buy it or try to read it.  Judy and SUMMER STOCK deserved so much better.

BREAKING POINTS serving up transphobia

Last week, Ava and C.I. wrote "Media: BREAKING POINTS promotes transphboia, CRAPAPEDIA can't handle the truth."  If you were thinking Krystal Ball (the left co-creator of BREAKING POINTS) was going to address this issue you were wrong.  James Li, who hosted the transphobic segment, has not apologized either.  For the record, Li knew who Heidi Briones was before he brought her on.  He knew she was a transphobe. As Ava and C.I. reported, she was much worse than that, she was a self-loathing lesbian who hid her wife when she was running for public office.  And it was her wife then.  You can't say, "Oh, well it was her girlfriend."  No, it was her wife.  That's how pathetic Heidi is.

BREAKING POINTS thinks the segment's going to be forgotten.

It's not that easy.

And their own audience is making that clear.

Here's a selection of some of the comments that have been left on the YOUTUBE page of the transphobic segment.  We found the following to be especially worthy of noting.

Twonicus80: This is definitely the worst episode James has done.  No evidence, just a reasonable old lady concerned about how things are different now.  She's not right about everything but she not totally incorrect about anything either.  No real substance here and mostly the message seems to be that kids these days don't know how  to be gay.  And the study she (vaguely) cited from England is poorly researched and highly suspect in its motivation.   This was just bad and lazy journalism.  Please do better.

vinnym5607: I would love i Krystal would wake up and point out how unhinged this segment was.  Hell, let Kyle do a segment.

ant6152: Cray that breaking points goes the entire month without mentioning pride at all just for the one and only episode on the subject to be a TERF

@RodGustavson: So her first 6 minutes we find out that Pride was okay when she was single, but now that she has found someone it is over sexualized; that she thinks Pride is akin to Socialism; and she thinks variations of the Pride flag are ugly.  She also says she can't understand why indigenous people are included in Pride celebrations.  I guess she never bothered to look into it. It is because some Native Americans believe that a person can have both masculine and feminine traits, very much in line with LGBTQ+.  I think these two should study a little more before taking to YouTube.

johnwatkins2659: I'm disappointed in breaking points for platforing and promoting this blatantly bigoted, ignorant drivel.  I won't be watching anything else hosted by this host moving forward, and will be considering my overall viewership and support of the channel.

turbogeek20: as soon as she said that queer people have no more rights they need to fight for, you realize that her conception of queerness is rooted in a shallow, myopic, self-serving, inherently conservative idea of the material struggles that queer people face, she is obviously not a leftist, but if she were, she would understand how queer people fit in a broader labor struggle.

AL-op3ue: Is this Breaking Points or Real Time with Bill Maher?

malikalauryn: can we never have trans people talk about the trans agenda? does it always have to be a convo for non-trans people to gawk at the neighbors trying to live their lives?

binx7737L This was a very disappointing segment. Child abuse for gender affirming care?  Really?  Where was the trans person in this discussion?  This felt very one sided.  It's a shame, I used to like BP.

litlp1: If you want to talk about trans people include a trans person.  This woman used anecdotes and made vague references to "studies" that demonstrated she does not have enough expertise to speak intelligently on this issue.  Stick to business, James.

archanegene: I expect additional LGBT voices if you're interviewing her...she's actually quite lacking.

lennon1499: Very disappointed that Krystal and Saager would allow this on the channel.

justinpritchard4508: Are Krystal and Ryan cool with inviting random reactionaries on their channel to be completely unchallenged on a single thing they say as they waffle for 23 minutes?

damham5689:  What the late Andy Rooney said about Ayn Rand "I got mine, you can pull up the rope now" could easily apply to Heidi Briones.

at_the_door: Krystal please clean up this channel's content.  Jesus

whyidrink40: Is Krystal asleep at the wheel?  What is this doing on the BP main channel?

Dead_pixelz: Not the best way to wrap up pride month breaking points.  Be better.

jaybirddee3790: I love the dander-caked 90s-era cat city behind her.  Explains the vinegary attitude.

anakoz: Well this is a gross conversation and surprised to see a queerphobic conversation had on Breaking Points.  They're really still talking about the progress flag?! And her socialism comment?! Jesus.

musical bacon: alright. i'm actually done with this channel now.  we're just going to let bigots speak nonsense about 'abusing children' hen i'll get my news somewhere else.

sandman1688: Typical boomer trying to pull the ladder up behind her.

psiwarinc: This is a huge L for breaking points.  This is absolutely unwatchable.

evolutia: They might as well have someone like Brianna Wu on in these segments.  This interview might be one of the worst things produced by Breakingpoints.  It's really terrible.

GR-kh7ve: Pride has always been about sexuality.  Parents choose bring their children to an adult space.  Disappointed that there were not counterpoints by an actual trans person.  Disappointed that BP is choosing to share this during Pride.  My pride experience was wonderful people free enough to be themselves without any agenda.  It says more about the host than it did about a "trans agenda."

lindasimpson1105: This is the best "Breaking Points" can do when it provides a rare focus on LGBT concerns?  This woman offers nothing new or interesting to the conversation.  She seems mostly ashamed of the queer community.

drewskiiiiiii: James, I'm usually a big fan.  I'm not enthusiastic about this conversation.  It's kind of odd to never really talk about queer issues, and have your first conversation be with this person.

evolutia!: He's awful.

TheHeBGeeBees: Yeah, this unfortunately knocked James off the pedestal I had previously placed him upon in my mind.  Bummer.

timothyhoft: Did Prager U hack into Breaking Points YouTube channel?

fod79: Usually love your segments.  This was a big waste of time.

catbeara: Y'all got me this close to unsubscribing wth is this nonsense

shawnloescher429: Congrats! You interviewed a conservative lesbian.  Candice Owens is available if you need a token black woman as well.

RetroBerner: This weird right win switch on the weekends reminds me of how MSNBC used to turn into Priston TV after hours

jsirvanchai: This interview was a form of abuse on the trans community.

madnezz1961: the child doesnt decide......stop that framing altogether.  Its called triple consent, the parents, the doctors and the child. Children dont consent to chemo, etc either but we don't see that legislated against

Slania227: Great video guys.  Maybe next time have matt walsh on for his balanced take on the subject.  You should be ashamed of this.

Ryan-093: transitioning has 1% regret rate.  which lower than knee surgery and hip recplacments.

jeffshane9191: damn...this is bad. is this the daily wire or some s[**]t?

RashadWilliamsA: This interview is damaging to the credibility of your platform.  You both appear incredibly uninformed and uncritical.  Personally, I would have never cleared this for upload.

catbeara: Who tf okay-ed this??? On the last day of prime month and everything.  Gross.

rachelsunlistedvids140: This was...um...stupid.

saopayshoes: You only have to look at the comments to see this discussion was just reactionism but with indoor voices.  Civility is fine, but a white lady saying "this is my oppressed group, you're not allowed in" isn't new or informative.  Solidarity doesn't really seem to be a big thing for her.  I mean, look, you can only have so many "well just look at the ridiculousness of these young peope who don't really understand anything" comments before you look like you're just yelling at clouds.

NikeonaBike: Classic "pull the ladder up behind me" conservative minority.

4G3NTOR4NG3: @4:55 ok once you start using the term "socialism" while describing something that is not "socialism" tells me that a person clearly doesn't know what socialism even is.

rogerstone6849L Stop platforming this BS. Just lost a subscription.

vivianriver6450: Now that you're openly platforming transphobia, I'm glad I canceled my subscription back when you started supporting Putin.

xdw4357: EXPOSES how dumb and PANDERING to right wingers the show has become.  this lady is OBVIOUSLY 'OFF', and the guy is CLUELESS about the topic.  Let's do a long form segment packed with CRINGE.

joshg5122: This is honestly the worst interview I've see on the channel!

xooutofstep: this person was the best person you could find to talk on this subject? Imaooooo

RigVertigo: So much bulls[**]t spewed in this segment. I'm really surprised BP hosted this.

peacefulwarrior9518: "we understand children cant consent to permanent life altering changes on other issues" Then why do I have no foreskin?

dpbetalking: Also, the host is lying.  Claiming this woman knows how to have nuanced middle-of-the-road conversations about LGBTA+ topics is malpractice.  Any community person can spot her for what she is within 2 minutes of this conversation.  She is not different than the far-right LGBTQ commentators like David Rubin and the like.  It is your right to converse with her, but please don't lie about who or what she represents.

GLINTifada: Wow This is trash.

theinernetisnotreal1:  This might be the worst segment I've ever seen on Breaking Points.  From the random use of 'socialism' to throwing around standard anti-trans talking points, this was way below the usual level of discourse and balance I expect from this channel.
