Thank you, Bernie Sanders

In "Payoffs for states seal Senate deal" (Politico), Chris Frates details the playas playing the American public for fools: "But another Democratic holdout, Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.), took credit for $10 billion in new funding for community health centers, while denying it was a 'sweetheart deal.' He was clearly more enthusiastic about a bill he said he couldn't support just three days ago."

Bernie Sanders

Though adamantly opposed to Baracks's BigBusinessGiveAway, we say: Thank you, Bernie Sanders.

Sanders is the only Socialist currently in the Senate and his craven actions prove that the Corporatist Democratic and Republican Parties do not hold a monopoly or a patent on a lack of spine or an inability to stand up. Bernie demonstrates that not only is there no real difference between Republicans and Democrats, there's no real difference between them and Socialists.

Most of all, he proves the axiom: Power corrupts; absolute power corrupts absolutely.

Thank you, Bernie.

Thank you clarity.

Thank you disillusionment.

Thank you nothingness.

Thank you consequence.

Thank you, thank you silence
