Things to do

All events are NYC.

Tuesday, Women's Media Center will hold a public forum on the topic of the Democratic primary race at The Paley Center for Media -- 25 West 52nd Street -- from nine to noon. This event -- sponsored by WMC, The White House Project and the Maynard Institute for Journalism Education -- is free and open to the public. Panelists will include Juan Gonzalez, Christiane Amanpour, Sue Carroll, Courtney Martin, Celinda Lake, Mika Brzezinski, Catalina Camia, Geneva Overholser, Ron Wlaters, Dr. Kathy and Dr. Patti Williams. Click here for the announcement and for information on registering. Juan's listed first because he called out Barack when all of Panhandle Media was silent. Ava and C.I.'s commentary this week will give you excellent ideas of questions to ask Dr. Kathy and, of course, Dr. Patti could be asked about her snit-fit meltdown on KPFA when she attempted to lie that Barack voted against the 2002 Iraq resolution but a caller with a MidEast accent pointed out that Barack wasn't in the Senate in 2002. You could ask her if she felt she could go to town on the nervous woman because (a) it was a woman, (b) because of the woman's accent or (c) because no one calls Dr. Patti out on her lies?
