HULU has "no definite answer" -- or any real customer service

HULU has pissed off a lot of subscribers with their 'upgrade' and redesign.  The "My Channels" feature vanished.  Go to this HULU webpage where subscribers are explaining how useless HULU is to them without "My Channels."  Dallas helps out every edition and we are lucky to have his help.  Tonight, he went to HULU chat to ask about the "My Channels" feature.  He got an idiot who doesn't appear to understand much of anything.  What follows is Dallas' chat with Eman Z (we have removed Dallas e-mail address and zip code).

Dallas:  I'm doing well , thank you. I've just put my Hulu subscription on pause. I'm probably going to cancel. I'm very upset that My Channels was removed. I have signed up for the You Tube TV one month trial. 7:44 PM

Eman Z: Oh! I completely understand how important for you to manage the status of your subscription and it's really inconvenient when the channels you should have are now missing. 7:45 PM 

Dallas: Does Hulu even care? There's a whole thing on the community page -- over 600 votes -- about how My Channels needs to be returned. 

Eman Z: No worries. You've got the right person to figure out what really happened to your local channels. 7:46 PM 

Dallas: I don't think you understand. "My Channels" was a feature that Hulu offered until the upgrade. It is gone now. There are 759 votes right now on the Hulu community page for My Channels to be returned. 7:47 PM

Dallas: I was hoping you would say something like, "We are aware of that problem and we're working to fix it"

Eman Z: The GOOD NEWS is that we're currently negotiating with our network partners as we've received a lot of concern regarding some missing channels. 7:55 PM

Dallas: "My Channels" was a feature you could click on until this past week. The upgrade changed it. It is no longer a feature. I am not talking about NBC or some channel vanishing. I'm talking about a feature on the HULU website entitled "My Channels"

Eman Z: We were able to confirm that most of our viewers are requesting for "My Channels" feature to make available again so that it will surely help us make things possible once the system update is completely implemented. 8:04 PM 

Dallas: Are you saying that "My Channels" will return as a feature on the HULU page? If so, they've got a little over 3 weeks to do so. If not, I'm signing with YOUTUBE TV at the end of my free trial and dropping HULU. I love HULU but the new design makes it hard for me to navigate. 8:06 PM 

Eman Z: I've actually no definite answer but since we usually send email notification for every update, you will surely be informed. It really breaks my heart because I know how important for you to get the feature back where you are comfortable with and I really wanted to help you out. 8:09 PM
