1. Clinton and Pelosi are corrupt neoliberal imperialists who deserve their unpopularity. 2. Literally no one but billionaire Republican donors want Romney to run. 3. Sanders is the most popular politician in the country. He would be crazy not to run.

Hillary Clinton is 71 and people tell her to knit. Nancy Pelosi is 78 and people are telling her to go away. Mitt Romney is 71, they want him in the Senate.…

      It's easy to criticize Clinton and Pelosi, but they have risked their careers pushing progressive policies we enjoy today, like healthcare. Are they as progressive as I'd like? Not always, but I also appreciate they've gotten us to a place where Bernie is even in the running.

      Both of them oppose single-payer. Both have taken millions in contributions from banks. Under Pelosi as speaker, the Democrats lost over 1,100 elections. Clinton is a war criminal who voted for the Iraq War and orchestrated interventions in Libya and Honduras. Progressive how?

      Clinton and Pelosi, and many other dems, got the only type of healthcare passed they could that protects those with preexisting conditions, eliminates lifetime caps, and extends the age at which people can stay on their parents healthcare.

      They are far from perfect, but they've made us better than we were before. You're holding them to today's standards. That's like criticizing Lincoln for not passing voters' rights legislation for freed slaves. Somethings are a step at a time.

      I think that’s a stretch. When Obama became president, Dems had a super majority in Congress. Instead of implementing single-payer, they passed a massive insurance giveaway—a plan created by the Heritage Foundation—which left tens of millions without coverage.

      Had they passed a single payer system, Republicans would have successfully voted it out within weeks of taking Congress. By taking a moderate approach, they got enough support from the populous to hold back those GOP efforts. That being said, it's been fun debating you. :-)

      There’s no evidence for that. Had they passed a single-payer system, it would be untouchable. The country wanted change and the Dems didn’t produce it. As a result, Dems are wiped out at every level of govt at a time when support for progressive policies is at an all-time high.
