Highlights

This piece is written by Rebecca of Sex and Politics and Screeds and Attitude, Cedric of Cedric's Big Mix, Kat of Kat's Korner, Betty of Thomas Friedman is a Great Man, Mike of Mikey Likes It!, Elaine of Like Maria Said Paz, Ruth of Ruth's Report, Marcia of SICKOFITRADLZ, Stan of Oh Boy It Never Ends, Ann of Ann's Mega Dub, Isaiah of The World Today Just Nuts and Wally of The Daily Jot. Unless otherwise noted, we picked all highlights.

"Iraq snapshot" -- Most requested highlight of the week. We may repost this here. It's C.I. covering the Friday Iraq protests.

"Kat's Korner: Radiohead, I'm going to need a cigarette" -- Kat's latest album review and it went up this morning.

"I Hate The War" -- C.I. digs into the e-mails for this popular one from last week.

"Wisconsin and Iraq" and "Oil" -- Trina talks the basics.

"Miko" -- At last we learn, yes, Betinna is alive and Miko is helping or her -- or we think Miko is helping her.

"Talk of the Nation" -- Ann explains she's done with Talk of the Nation, thank you very much.

"david thomson's an idiot" -- If you don't know Cactus Flower and you're a film reviewer should you really be reviewing a remake and should you not be aware you're reviewing a remake?

"Sexist Ray McGovern can't stop lying" -- Ruth calls out Crazy Ass Ray.

"Shame on the White House" -- Kat notes that the White House has no statement re: Iraq protests.

"Chris Hedges" -- Kat quotes Hedges and weighs in on the state of the internet herself.

"The Scar," "Date Night" and "You Again?" -- Stan and Marcia go to the movies.

"Breaking the No Ordinary Family code?," "Raising Hope," "Sexist Tina Fey," "Fringe, Leonard Pitts and more" and "Site warning" -- Stan, Ruth, Kat and Mike cover TV.

"Pathetic ZNet and lying Glenn Greenwald" -- Elaine calls out disgusting Glenn-Glenn. If we had the time, we'd do a feature on him (just to use C.I.'s hilarious one-liner when Rebecca proposed we write about Glenn-Glenn this edition).

"Spineless" -- Isaiah dips into the archives to revist the collapsable Dems.

"Don't call that the Motor City" & "THIS JUST IN! A WHOLE LOT OF FAKE ASS GOING ON!" and "Sheryl Crowe, get your tired ass of the stage" -- though big fans of Motwon, Cedric, Wally and Marcia are not fans of FauxTown.

"My pathetic political party" -- Ann notes how ineffective her political party is nationally.

"Jim Lobe and other friends of rapists" -- Betty calls out the Nir Rosen spinners.

"guess what just popped up" -- this is becoming one of the most talked about posts of the week. What will they do? They haven't decided.

"THIS JUST IN! HE SURE KNOWS A LOT OF CROOKS!" & "Did any of his Chicago friends ever make an honest buck" -- Wally and Cedric point out that Bad Penny's back and Barack's got her.
