Highlights

This piece is written by Rebecca of Sex and Politics and Screeds and Attitude, Cedric of Cedric's Big Mix, Kat of Kat's Korner, Betty of Thomas Friedman is a Great Man, Mike of Mikey Likes It!, Elaine of Like Maria Said Paz, Ruth of Ruth's Report, Marcia of SICKOFITRADLZ, Stan of Oh Boy It Never Ends and Wally of The Daily Jot. Unless otherwise noted, we picked all highlights.

"I Hate The War" -- Most requested highlight. Ty says to also put in that Jim groaned loudly at this for the second half which he felt C.I. could have saved for Third. Nope. Works best here. C.I.'s taking on the racist Joe Cannon and also addressing realities about Caroline Kennedy. Joe Cannon?

"Don't call me racist, Whitey," "Joe Cannon the racist and how it's PUMA's problem," "THIS JUST IN! Q&A WITH A RACIST!," "Tips for racist Joe Cannon (of Cannonfire)," "gaza and the repuslive joe cannon," "Racist Joe Cannon probably has a tiny dick," "The racist Joe Cannon," "So that's what makes someone racist," "The War Hawks and racist Mr. Cannon," ""Corn and Lima Beans in the Kitchen" and "Weekend" -- The entire online community weighed in (and Ty, Jess, Jim and Dona weighed in here pulling the Truest Joe Cannon had prior).

Isaiah's The World Today Just Nuts "Princess Brat's Big Plan" -- Isaiah's hilarious comic on Caroline, the spoiled brat.

"Kat's Korner: The really best of Janis Ian" -- Kat's review of Janis Ian's double-disc collection. Last week also saw "1 Book, 5 Minutes" which is a discussion of Janis Ian's new book, Society's Child.

"Outkast," "The Singing Nun," "'que sera, sera'," "Fats Domino and the Drifters," "Isley's for my first," "Ms. Jackson, because you know you're nasty," "From En Vouge to Luther Vandross,"
"'I Want To Hold Your Hand'" and "Harriet Miers, Monica, etc." -- The Wednesday evening community posts stuck with the theme of music.

"Barack dines with his buddies" & "THIS JUST IN! DINNER WITH FELLOW SLIME!" -- Cedric and Wally note they got more e-mails on this joint-post than on anything in the last two months. They also give a thanks to C.I. Origianlly the Brenda Russell line included Donna Summer's name instead. C.I. said Donna's name would stop the reader and hurt the joke. If they knew any version of "Dinner With Gershwin," most readers would know or grasp that Brenda Russell wrote it.
